Women's Project are back on their feet

You may remember that in mid-January, Chibombo experienced floods. The Women's Project lost the crops they were growing. They asked for funds to buy food for 6 weeks and some fertiliser to get back on their feet. And they have managed to do it!

They have maize and pumpkins to eat and soya beans, peanuts, maize and cowpeas on the way. The main casualty are the sunflowers due to too much water. They feel that conservation farming is paying off
