Support Chibombo

The Chibombo women's group involves some of the women most vulnerable and stressed by the impact of climate change. Growing food for consumption and income provides them with an alternative to earning a living through charcoal burning.

Since 2019, they have been cultivating on rented land. In 2020, with help from the UK based Whalley Range Climate Action Group, they acquired their own land. We fundraised so they could develop their land to grow food and develop a tree nursery.

One supporter bought 10 cards and invited friends to take one and pay what they want and donated the money she raised what a great way to make people aware of the project and raise a bit of money - thankyou!
Another supporter had a book stall at an local event and made £145 and told people about us!
