We have put our annual report on the website, rather late in the year, apologies!
It is really exciting to hear about what is happening......
In a nutshell, since we funded five young people to go on a short course at the beginning of 2024, there have been huge developments in encouraging sustainable organic agriculture (SOA) CPCA are currently training nearly 450 farmers
· ‘to transform practice from reliance on chemicals to making organic fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides and herbicides’.
about biodiversity, weed and pest control to reduce the usage of weedkillers like roundup.
about soil and water conservation (as in the picture above) about crop rotation and intercropping, a course targeted at farmers in flood prone areas
Find out about the wonderful Eat to Plant and Plant to Eat project which we are raising funds for at our Harvest Fundraiser - Book now
