Chibombo climate Project

Great ways to give, have fun and keep warm this winter!

Our supporters are coming up with amazing ways to make money to support Chibombo People's Climate Action!

Another fabulous night out

On Saturday 28th January, Avril and Yvonne are offering a 7 course vegetarian meal based on traditional Polish winter food with vodka tasting for a minimum donation of £40 in Whalley Range, Manchester. Places are going fast; to reserve yours, please email Mary: marykenny1956@gmail.com

Are you finding your home difficult to heat, or pay for?

Chibombo member, Mel, is offering an energy advice and surveying service this winter in return for a donation that will go to Changu and her team in Zambia.

Mel can advise how to make your home more comfortable when it is cold outside. He will help you save money through simple, usually low cost, energy conservation measures and whilst doing so reduce will your carbon footprint! This is about improving the heat retention and energy performance of your home AND reducing your bills. It includes a house survey that may utilise a thermal imaging camera.

Mel is a housing/property professional with forty years of experience. Please email mel@melgodfrey.co.uk for more information

CPCA cards for Christmas? Here is the picture on our latest one! Information here to buy cards

In the last month, we have raised an incredible £1429 over and above our regular monthly income! Thankyou everyone! Here are a few details about how the money was raised

The raffle raised nearly £150. Lou, who bought her winning ticket at the Carlton Club Cake sale will receive a home made Christmas cake. The icing will feature a picture from CPCA!

Several supporters gave one off donations after hearing about the wildfire. One, who decided to give part of her Winter Fuel Payment to a climate related organisation, chose CPCA to give it to.

Mary excelled herself with two lovely evenings of delicious food. The people who attended gave such generous donations for the meal and bought cards and raffle tickets, raising nearly £1000.
