Changu's birthday

Changu's birthday was a good day involving involving various activities and people.

The group planted over 500 fruit trees. They plan to make this an income generation activity as there is lots of demand. 790 muringa plants were also

planted. Muringa trees provide shade, fertilise and their leaves are nutritious

The local Headman planting trees to lead by example

Chibombo People's Action bought sweet potato vines for women to plant at home. This will help safeguard food for the cold season when Covid is likely to be extreme.

An officer from the District Forestry Dept came and taught women how to construct firewood saving stoves

At the end of the day the District Forestry Officers took 250 fruit trees for distribution in Chibombo town
